Glen Eisenberg
Founder and CEO
Glen brings over 35 years of experience in marketing, strategy, and organizational leadership to Kivun. Starting in corporate marketing, he built deep expertise in brand development, audience engagement, and strategic planning.
Eventually, Glen transitioned his skills to the nonprofit world, focusing on Jewish communal organizations that align with his personal values. His approach combines disciplined business acumen with a deep understanding of the nuances and challenges facing Jewish nonprofits.
Glen’s guiding belief: “Great businesses use sound disciplines – so should great charities.” His work reflects a commitment to both operational excellence and the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam: repairing the world through meaningful action.
Emmy Zemel
Strategic Advisor
Emmy Zemel is a management consultant at PwC Canada specializing in operations strategy. She has extensive experience advising organizations on strategic growth and performance optimization across people, processes, and technology.
Outside of her professional work, Emmy is deeply involved in the Jewish community, having served on numerous non-profit boards and leadership initiatives. She brings a passion for strategic thinking, community building, and impact-driven leadership to everything she does.
Samara Bell
Consultant - Research & Growth
Samara brings a background in economic development, research, and business development, with experience working across startups and innovation ecosystems. She began her career building global communities and partnerships in the innovation space and has since advised emerging companies on strategy, engagement, and growth.
Active in Jewish communal life, Samara serves on several committees and initiatives focused on next-generation engagement within the Jewish community and Israel engagement. She is passionate about bringing strategic thinking, creativity and fresh perspectives to organizations, helping them strengthen their impact and build a vibrant future.
Lizzie Cody
Lizzie is a philanthropy advisor with a decade of experience shaping strategy and impact across the UK and Canada. She has advised Private Foundations, Donor Advised Funds, and nonprofits from grassroots initiatives to national organizations, bringing clarity and direction to complex funding decisions.
In Montreal, Lizzie specialized in donor advisory and family philanthropy at the Jewish Community Foundation, earning both the 21/64 Family Philanthropy Advisor and MFA-P designations. She holds a Master’s in Philanthropic Studies and serves on the Board of an Ontario-based music care charity.
Known for her energy, insight, and curiosity, Lizzie helps funders and organizations turn vision into meaningful, lasting change through sharp strategy and effective execution.
